Terms of sale
Updated November 1, 2026
These terms cover buying Ferry Pro from Ferry, where Stripe takes the payment. Ferry is made and sold by Nollie, in Mexico; "we" below means Nollie. Pro bought through the App Store or Google Play is sold through that store, under its terms, and is cancelled and refunded there.
The short version
- Ferry is free on each of your devices. Pro keeps your notes in sync between them.
- Every account can try Pro free for 30 days, with no card.
- Subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time in Ferry.
- Any purchase can be refunded in full within 14 days, for any reason. See the refund policy.
What Ferry Pro is
Ferry Pro keeps your notes in your Ferry account, and in sync on every device signed in to it, with each note's history. Everything else in Ferry is free. Pro belongs to the account that bought it, works on every platform Ferry runs on, and can't be moved to another account.
Prices
- Monthly: $2.99 a month
- Yearly: $19 a year
- Lifetime: $39, paid once
Prices are in US dollars. Stripe's checkout shows the full amount, with any tax that applies, before you pay. If your card is in another currency, your bank may add a fee for converting it. Your card statement shows the payment as FERRY.
The free trial
Each account gets one free trial of Pro, 30 days long, which starts the first time you sign in to Ferry. It needs no card, and it doesn't turn into a paid plan by itself: when it ends, nothing is charged.
Subscriptions
A monthly or yearly subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and the card you paid with is charged the same price again, until you cancel. Ferry shows the date of the next renewal under Settings → Ferry Pro.
To cancel, open Settings → Ferry Pro → Billing and receipts in Ferry, which opens Stripe's billing page. Pro keeps working until the end of the month or year you've paid for, and then the subscription ends, with nothing more charged. The same page switches between monthly and yearly, updates your card and keeps your receipts. When you switch, what's left of the period you've paid for counts towards the new plan.
If a renewal can't be charged, Stripe tries again over the following days, and Ferry asks you to update your card. Pro keeps working meanwhile. If the payment still doesn't go through, Pro ends.
Lifetime
Lifetime is one payment for Pro for as long as Ferry runs its sync service, with nothing to renew. If you buy it while you have a subscription, the subscription stops renewing and runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
If we ever stop running sync, we'll tell you well ahead of time. Your notes stay yours either way: they're on your devices, and you can export them at any time.
When Pro ends
When a trial or a subscription ends, Ferry stops syncing. Your notes stay on each of your devices, and Ferry carries on there as the free version does. Buy Pro again and they sync again.
Refunds
Any purchase can be refunded in full within 14 days of it, for any reason. The refund policy says how to ask, and what a refund does to Pro.
Deleting your account
Pro belongs to your account, so deleting the account cancels a subscription at once and ends Pro, lifetime included. Time left on a subscription isn't refunded, unless its payment is still within the 14 days of the refund policy.
Disputed payments
If something is wrong with a payment, write to us first: a refund is quicker than a dispute with your bank. If a bank decides a dispute over a payment in your favor, the payment counts as refunded, and the Pro it paid for ends.
Changes to prices and to these terms
We may change Pro's prices, but a new price never applies to time you've already paid for. If your subscription's price goes up, we'll email you at least 30 days before the first renewal at the new price, so you can cancel first if you'd rather.
If these terms change, this page will show the new version and the date it changed. A change never takes away anything you've already paid for.
Your rights
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer law of the country you live in.
